About the Person

Ms. Catherine S. Brune, Cathy serves as President of East Territory at The Allstate Corporation. Ms. Brune served as the President of Allstate Protection South Regions at Allstate Insurance Company a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation. Ms. Brune served as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Allstate Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Allstate Corp. and also served as its Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer since October 2002. She was responsible for Allstate's enterprise-wide technology strategy, network infrastructure, enterprise applications and technology-related governance, security and compliance activities. Ms. Brune served as Vice President of Allstate technology shared services and worked in various managerial capacities for Allstate since 1976. Under her leadership, Allstate developed an enterprise-wide business-aligned technology strategy, created a virtual data center environment, developed best-in-class monitoring systems for its web operations, consolidated knowledge management processes, and brought an enterprise focus to information security and business resumption platforms while generating efficiency gains. Ms. Brune has been a Director at Ameren Corporation since October 14, 2011. She served as a Director of Junior Achievement, Inc. She served on numerous non-profit boards including the United Way and the Urban League. She is an Inductee of the YWCA's Academy of Women Achievers and recognized as one of the Premier 100 Information Technology leaders by Computerworld Magazine. She is a recipient of the Excellence in Corporate IT Leadership award from Women in Technology International. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
