About the Company

The Department of Energy, Office of Environmental Management Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program (DOE EM MSIPP) takes a comprehensive approach to building a diverse and well-trained future workforce to take the next step toward completion of the EM mission. EM MSIPP is made up of seven components that offer a range of opportunities for students at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) across the country. From competitive research grants to hands-on internship experiences for undergraduate students, this holistic strategy fosters a pipeline of talent by nurturing student success through scholarships and fellowships and providing postdoctoral researchers with specialized research positions at DOE national laboratories. Through these multifaceted programs, the EM MSIPP equips the next generation of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle the complex and evolving challenges surrounding environmental cleanup and remediation. If you are a STEM student at a Minority Serving Institution and are interested in applying your knowledge to help solve real world energy and environmental problems, please visit our website to learn more.
