The Beauty segment offers antiperspirants and deodorants, cosmetics, personal cleansing, skin care, hair care and color, prestige, and professional salon products under the Head and Shoulders, Olay, Pantene, SK-II, and Wella brand names. The Grooming segment provides blades and razors, epilators, pre- and post-shave products, and electronic hair removal devices under the Braun, Fusion, Gillette, Mach3, and Prestobarba brand names. The Health Care segment offers toothbrush, toothpaste, and other oral care products; and gastrointestinal, rapid diagnostics, respiratory, vitamins/minerals/supplements, and other personal health care products. This segment markets its products under the Crest, Oral-B, and Vicks brand names. The Fabric Care and Home Care segment provides laundry additives, fabric enhancers, and laundry detergents; air care, dish care, and surface care products; batteries; and professional products. This segment sells its products under the Ariel, Dawn, Downy, Duracell, Febreze, Gain, and Tide brand names. The Baby, Feminine and Family Care segment offers feminine care and adult incontinence products; baby wipes, diapers, and pants; paper towels, tissues, and toilet papers under the Always, Bounty, Charmin, and Pampers brand names. The company markets its products through mass merchandisers, grocery stores, membership club stores, drug stores, department stores, salons, high-frequency stores, and e-commerce in approximately 180 countries worldwide. The Procter and Gamble Company was founded in 1837 and is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Bruce Brown has been the Chief Technology Officer at Procter & Gamble Co. since June 2008. Mr. Brown served as Vice President of Research and Development of Global Hair Care and Global Hair Colorants at Procter & Gamble Co. He joined Procter & Gamble on 23 June, 1980. Mr. Brown previously served as an Engineer of Bar Soap and Household Cleaning Products (BS & HCP) R&D, Cincinnati since 1980, since 1983 as Group Leader of BS & HCP R&D, Cincinnati, since 1985 as Group Leader of Diaper R&D, Cincinnati, since 1987 as Section Head of Diaper R&D, Cincinnati, since 1989 as Section Head of Diaper R&D at International Technology Coordination, Cincinnati, since 1991 as an Associate Director of Fem Pro R&D, Cincinnati, since 1993 as an Associate Director of European Fem Pro R&D, Schwalbach, Germany, since 1995 as Director of Fem Pro and TTF Asia R&D, Kobe, Japan, since 1999 as Director of NA Baby Care R&D, Cincinnati and since 2001 as Manager of Global Baby Care R&D, Cincinnati. Mr. Brown also served as Manager of Beauty Care for Global Hair Care R&D, Cincinnati since September 2003, Vice President of R&D for Global Hair Care, Cincinnati since December, 2003 and Since 2005 as Vice President of R&D for Global Hair Care and Color. He serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board at MDVIP, a wholly owned subsidiary of P&G, as well as a member of the Xavier University Board of Trustees. He has been a Director of Nokia Corporation since May 3, 2012. He serves as a Director of Agency for Science, Technology and Research. Mr. Brown has been an Executive Advisory Panel for Sycamore Board of Education since 2004 and Flying Neutrons Flying Club since 2008. He has been Youth Lacrosse Coach since 2003. His Local and National Activities Include: Junior Achievement, Cincinnati from 1981 to 1984, St. Margaret Of work: Building Commission and Festivals from 1987 to 1991, Board of Directors of Big Brothers & Sisters of Warren County from 1991 to 1993 and Board of Directors of Boys Hope Girls Hope from 2003 to 2008. Mr. Brown received B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1980 and M.B.A. Degree from Xavier University in 1987.
