Brian Parker is Strategic Risk Associates’s Chief Information Officer and the Senior Managing Director leading SRA’s Information Technology and Security Services practice and is a Global Technology, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Risk Executive with extensive experience leading initiatives in Information Technology and Business Operations strategy for Fortune 100 companies and large Government Agencies. Brian has over 20 years of cybersecurity and IT consulting experience and has served many leading global Financial Services companies in solving complex technology and security issues. He was recently Executive Partner, Technology, Security and Risk Management with IBM and was previously Partner, Technology Risk Management, Security and Privacy at Deloitte. Mr. Parker, specializes in front and back office technology transformations, with an emphasis on security and privacy risk, IT functions and services, applications, and infrastructure that drive efficiency and capability for the business while following standards such as ISO, NIST, COBIT, FISMA and others. Brian also advises executives on developing innovative processes and solutions in analytics, cybersecurity, privacy, forensics, enterprise risk, compliance, mobility, cloud, and others to effectively manage the content and data needed to run the business, monitor transactions and mitigate risks. Mr. Parker is a recognized thought leader in design and implementation of advanced technical solutions to manage and sustain Business Process, Security and Financial Risk/Control environments and serves as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients. Mr. Parker holds a MBA in Computer Information Systems from Old Dominion University and a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Christopher Newport University – magna cum laude.
