About the Person
Brad James responsibilities will include managing the information systems division for Tompkins Financial Corporation, which includes the six business units representing banking, insurance, wealth management and financial services across New York and Pennsylvania. He also participates in the planning and achievement of Tompkins Financial Corporation’s goals with emphasis on information systems strategy, use of technology, service, quality and efficiency. James started his career in informational technology for the banking industry when he joined The Bank of Castile 18 years ago. As the bank grew and became part of Tompkins Financial, he has taken a larger responsibility serving the various affiliates in addition to his role at The Bank of Castile, which was most recently serving as vice president of information technology services. He is a youth baseball coach, youth basketball coach, and an American Cancer Society Relay for Life participant. He and his wife, Debbie, reside in Silver Springs with their two children, Erika and Michael.
