About the Person
Barbara Riddell joined the Carepoint Health System as Corporate Chief Information Officer in May 2013. Her focus will be to fully standardize and integrate the system enableing CarePoint Health to bring quality, patient-focused healthcare to Hudson County. Combining the resources of three area hospitals — Christ Hospital in Jersey City, Bayonne Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center — CarePoint Health is a new approach to delivering healthcare that puts the patient front and center. Ms. Riddell holds a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis on production operations from Indiana University; and a Master's Degree in Health Admininistration from Chapman University of California; and a second Master's in Nursing, she is also Certified in Clinical Informatics and earned Project Management Professional Certification- she has also recieved her Certification by ANCC as a Nurse Informatisist. and is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
