Aver is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and flexible leader to join our ever-expanding organization. This person will be directly responsible for managing Aver`s operational and financial management, including but not limited to accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and deal analysis and negotiations. The CFO will work closely with Aver`s CEO on day-to-day and operational issues and will be responsible for Aver`s overall performance and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be both a leader and a “doer,” unafraid to roll up his/her sleeves and engage hands-on in operations. Candidates do not have to have prior CFO experience, as long as they have worked closely under a CFO or have held senior-level positions in finance.
• Invest in market sectors with long-term growth prospects
• Ability to ensure accurate accounts and financial statements
• Strong focus on strategic priorities
• Ability to provide transparency in business performance in multiple departments (i.e. financial, quality, efficiency, etc.
• Collaborate closely with and lead Controller in financial decisions
• Focus investments on strategic priorities and ensure capital is deployed efficiently
• Establish meaningful leading and lagging performance indicators and drive adoption across the business
• Ensure all financial and related processes are designed to maximize benefit to Aver as a whole
• Employ high-margin, scalable business models
• Build and maintain tools and processes for efficient and timely delivery of performance metrics to relevant business leaders and stakeholders
Position Requirements:
Your background may not include all of the experiences outlined below, but you have a demonstrated track record of seeking new challenges, learning rapidly and delivering great results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting and a registered CPA
• Experience building financial infrastructure at high-growth company, and vastly familiar with the inner workings of a financial infrastructure
• Past experience working for a major CPA firm or as a Controller for a large company
• Experience in a start-up environment is preferred
• Past experience working with international companies in some capacity
• Ability to attack problems with drive and energy and recognize the best possible solution
• The following qualifications would be of tremendous value:
• Healthcare claims processing experience
• Experience working within a high-growth SaaS organization
