About the Person

Artur Adib, former CTO of Boston-based Pwnie Express, as a principal engineer. He had joined Pwnie Express in July. Adib arrives at Pwnie from Twitter, where he was a senior software engineer. During his tenure he was responsible for building and launching several high priority software projects including Fabric and Crashlytics for Unity game developers, as well as Digits for iOS. Prior to Twitter, Adib was an engineer for Mozilla where he developed, prototyped and produced the first built-in PDF viewer using HTML 5 technology for the popular Internet browser, Firefox. He is also responsible for writing one of the most downloaded libraries for NodeJS, ShellJS. Earlier in his career he was a faculty member of the National Institute of Health, where he published over 20 papers in computational physics and supervised a team of postdoctoral researchers.   Adib has a PhD from Brown University in Computational & Statistical Physics and a bachelor`s degree from Universidade Federal do Ceara, in Physics.
