Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of St. Augustine. To this day, Villanova`s Augustinian Catholic tradition is the cornerstone of an academic community where students learn to think critically, act compassionately and succeed while serving others. Western Oregon University (WOU) is a mid-sized public university located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon; just 20 minutes west of Salem, an hour to both Portland and Eugene, and under an hour to the Oregon Coast.
