About the Person

Anthony Furlow joined RMC in the Information Technology Department in 2009. Since that time, he has championed and guided significant improvements in the technology infrastructure and recent conversion projects at the hospital.   Pete Furlow’s leadership displayed in guiding RMC through a very challenging IT conversion to a new legacy healthcare technology platform has been exemplary. Pete is a tireless worker, outstanding leader and a tremendous asset to RMC.   Prior to joining RMC, Furlow worked for more than 15 years in the healthcare technology field.  He served as Director of Network Services at Baptist Health Systems in Jackson, MS and Director of Information Technology at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA.  Furlow has served as Director of Information Technology at RMC Anniston since 2009. He is a graduate of Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. He and his wife, Mary have 2 sons and reside in Jacksonville, AL.
