Morris` holdings include 11 daily newspapers, numerous nondaily and free community papers, 36 radio stations, numerous magazines and specialized publications, visitor (travel and tourism) publications, including Where® Magazine, Wheretraveler.com, and Where® Guestbooks and provides cable television, internet, broadband, and telephone services.

 

About the Person

Andrew Young currently serves as vice president of digital operations for Digital First Media in Denver, Colo., where he leads in administering news media sites for daily newspapers and weekly publications. He also serves as vice president of IT operations for DFM’s California Newspaper Partnership, supervising IT staff in administering publishing applications. Prior to joining Digital First Media, Young was director of publishing applications for A.H. Belo Corp. in Dallas, Texas. Young and his wife live in Aurora, Colo., and will relocate to Augusta. He will assume his new role at Morris Communications Jan. 2, 2015.
