Lincolnshire Co-op is a cooperative society established in 1861 by Thomas Parker in Lincoln. It began as a food retail store aimed at improving the living conditions of working-class people by providing quality food at reasonable prices. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include over 94 food stores across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, offering a wide range of grocery products. In addition to food retail, Lincolnshire Co-op has a historical background in the coal business and has ventured into hospitality with the opening of a refreshment bar in 1889. The cooperative is owned by approximately 290,000 members, who benefit from profit-sharing in the form of dividends or cashback. With a revenue of around $454.9 million and a dedicated workforce of about 753 employees, Lincolnshire Co-op continues to play a significant role in its local community.
