Madison, WI-based Madison Metropolitan School District has Appointed Andrew Statz as Chief Information Officer
The Madison Metropolitan School District is committed to ensuring that every school is a thriving school that prepares every student to graduate high school well-equipped for college, careers and their community. We serve over 27,000 students in 49 schools, including 32 elementary schools (grades K-5), 12 middle schools (grades 6-8), four comprehensive high schools and one alternative high school. We also have 4-year-old Kindergarten (4K), early childhood programs and alternative programs at the secondary level (grades 6-12). The District covers approximately 65 square miles including all or part of the cities of Madison and Fitchburg, the villages of Maple Bluff and Shorewood Hills, and the towns of Blooming Grove, Burke and Madison.
Andrew Statz, MMSD Chief Information Officer, the study group will meet to assess the school area's current and future enrollment, generate ideas to solve the problem and ultimately make recommendations to the school board.
