About the Person

Anders Thulin joined Ericsson in October 2013 to head up a newly formed unit, Group Function Business Excellence & Common Functions. Thulin’s focus is to further strengthen Ericsson’s strategy execution and governance capabilities, driving company-wide initiatives and global scale improvements to secure gains in profit and improved efficiency. One early initiative is to make better strategic use of Ericsson’s global mobile enterprise services and capabilities, which will have added benefits for Ericsson customers. A 25-year veteran and former senior partner of global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, Thulin has a strong track record in implementing business excellence in blue chip companies across diverse industries, including high-tech, IT and telecom. Thulin also has extensive experience in driving large scale change programs within functions such as IT, shared services, product development, supply & sourcing and sales & marketing in major corporations. Thulin holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics, including MBA studies at the Western University, Ivey Business School, Canada.
