Dr. Alastair Sholl has been named Vice President of Technology. Prior to that, Alastair served as BWA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs. Alastair completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Birmingham, and then earned his PhD in chemistry at the University of Liverpool. He joined BWA in 1993, where he was instrumental in achieving EU and U.S. EPA regulatory approvals for BWA’s industrial biocides, corrosion inhibitors, antiscalants and desalination technologies. As Vice President of Technology, Alastair will be located in Manchester, UK, and will head the world’s leading team of water treatment technology scientists who are located in R & D and technology centres in the UK (Manchester) and US (Atlanta)
