About the Person

Alain Gentilhomme brings more than 25 years of experience with product development, product management and technical leadership experience to helming technology at Nintex.   As chief technology officer at Nintex, Alain will provide technical direction and guidance on all aspects of the company’s technical development; lead the engineering organization in a way that supports the company’s culture, mission and values; deliver on-time, high-quality products aligned with company strategy; and develop best engineering practices across the organization.   Prior to joining Nintex, Alain was senior vice president engineering & product management at cross-platform solution leader Parallels, where he provided technology leadership, led a team of more than 450 people, and defined and led the company’s product strategy. Before that, he was senior vice president engineering at Acronis, where he drove the creation of a cloud storage solution and backup service, and won several awards for Acronis Backup & Recovery, vmProtect and True Image in the enterprise and consumer space. His technology background includes 12 years at Microsoft as a group program manager, director and technical evangelist for several different groups.   Alain has an electrical engineering degree from the Grenoble National Polytechnic University, and a master’s degree and PhD in electrical engineering from Grenoble INP, the PhD focused on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
