Adam Edelman, 43, has served as MSU's associate CIO in charge of enterprise infrastructure services. Since joining MSU in 2005, Edelman has been MSU's information security officer. Previously, Edelman was director of IT Operations at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, Calif., overseeing systems, networking and support services. He has also led IT organizations at a large defense contractor and a small start-up in San Diego. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Edelman is involved with numerous state and national organizations spanning technical, higher education and information security subject areas. He and his wife, Vickie, have three children.
