Description
The VP of Talent Acquisition and Deployment (TA&D) has the accountability for the success of the TA&D organization by design functional strategy that integrates with the broader Acosta Sales & Marketing HR strategy, ensuring seamless integration with other functions in the HR service delivery model, provides oversight and leadership for all components of the TA&D services to include designing and executing the recruitment strategy, source/select/onboard new talent, assess effectiveness of enterprise selection and sourcing tools/processes/systems, ensure effective internal talent brokerage and serve as the advisor to company leadership on TA&D initiatives to ensure attraction and retention of diverse talent at all levels of the organization. This successful candidate will build high-trust partnerships with management and employees, and must have passion for building world-class TA&D solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Relationships:
• Works closely with senior HR and business leadership
• Works specifically with Acosta Sales & Marketing CHRO to develop integrated TA&D strategies, services and solutions
• Works with other Senior HR and Business leaders to identify proper solutions to meet enterprise and business specific TA&D requirements
• Establish and maintain relationships with external groups and thought leaders to promote leading edge practices across all TA&D areas
• Serves as a thought leader externally to promote Acosta Sales & Marketing as leading practice organization
• Drives overarching strategy for TD&A that enables Acosta Sales & Marketing to obtain top talent while remaining cost-effective
• Sets general strategic direction and provides oversight, ensuring integration with the broader Acosta Sales & Marketing HR strategy
• Ensures seamless integration within the overall HR service delivery model to ensure business requirements are met
• Provides oversight for all components of the TA&D, including sourcing, recruiting, candidate marketing and TA-specific analytics, onboarding, etc.
• Oversee the recruiting teams, and ensure the recruiting function is capable, streamlined and well aligned with the vision and goals of the organization.
• Acts as a strong partner to business leaders to provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges. Develop effective working relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization. Works at a strategic level and a strong operator.
• Provide leadership to TA&D management who will be responsible for delivery of functional service level agreement and process key performance metrics
• Ensure the staffing process allows for a positive candidate experience as well as appropriate legal and compliant employment practices.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System and Sourcing Plans by provided process improvements and new and innovative approaches to fill position with top qualified candidates.
• Manage Corporate Associate Relations and provide leadership to corporate HRBP.
• Partner with other areas of HR, i.e. Compensation, Training etc., when needed to support overall staffing initiatives such as new job evaluations, job market studies etc.
• Build a data-driven recruiting organization, including analytics that provide insight and decision support. Provide the organization with time sensitive performance metrics and seek feedback regarding effective the effectiveness of the TA&D team.
• Respond to Client RFP requests regarding TA&D and overall HR Capabilities. As needed, attend client meetings regarding new business to address how we will launch and achieve client staffing results for new programs; Serve as project lead on HR client transitions.
Experience
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in designing, developing and executing enterprise sourcing, selection and onboarding strategies, programs, systems, tools and processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing deep relationships with the business, and delivering high valued and efficient TA&D initiatives in different business models that deliver ROI.
• Experience managing insource / outsource recruitment teams.
• Proven in developing and managing internal brokerage processes and external recruitment partners to deliver high quality results.
• Strategic thinker having designed TA&D and HR strategies that are aligned to overall business strategy
• Organization design capability to appropriately align operating model, structure and service delivery models
• Business acumen to be able to effectively influence all levels of the organization and deliver practical solution to meet business requirements
• Technology savvy to enable leverage of recruitment solutions in digital, social media, multi-media formats, etc.
• Strong business partnering skills to ensure high collaboration and influencing
• Able to effectively set, cascade, manage and measure TA&D objectives to ensure delivery of results
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Talent builder to ensure right people are doing the right work and succession in place
• Able to effectively use data to identify trends, translate into insights that drive high level of critical thinking and solid decision making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented while also focusing on the big picture
• Occasional travel will be required
