The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) is a nonprofit organization of 124 research libraries in Canada and the US whose mission is to advance research, learning, and scholarly communication. The Association fosters the open exchange of ideas and expertise, promotes equity and diversity, and pursues advocacy and public policy efforts that reflect the values of the library, scholarly, and higher education communities. ARL forges partnerships and catalyzes the collective efforts of research libraries to enable knowledge creation and to achieve enduring and barrier-free access to information.

As a trusted partner, we bring this ecosystem together, successfully pairing financial investment with technical and organizational expertise. Through the public-private partnership (P3) programs we run, US Ignite is a catalyst for communications network advancement, and for innovation in smart city services that are powered by a new generation of technologies. Our organization is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with original inspiration from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation.
The Convergent Research team helps incubate and launch Focused Research Organizations, a new model to fill gaps in the R&D ecosystem to tackle global challenges as Schmidt Futures Network`s first initiative. At Convergent Research we launch large-scale, high-impact science projects. We aim to help fill a structural gap in today`s R&D system. We enable fundamental research that requires unusual levels of scale and coordination yet is not rapidly monetizable by industry.
All Raise is on a mission to accelerate the success of female founders and funders to build a more prosperous, equitable future. Born out of a grassroots movement in 2017, our programs arm women with access, guidance, and support to advance their professional growth.
