Abe Cytryn is a digital leader in the media and entertainment industry with broad experience in product development and technology leadership in eCommerce, Mobile, User Experience, Content Management and Business Intelligence. Abe’s background is firmly rooted in supporting subscription based offerings and using consumer data to drive deeper engagement and higher retention. He has also been at the forefront in providing technology innovation in support of personalization, targeting and recommendation capabilities driving industry leading metrics for consumer retention and satisfaction. Abe’s most recent position was at Time Inc. where he was a key leader in accelerating the transformation to digital. Abe was with Time Inc. for over 10 years and was named Chief Technology Officer in 2009. Abe was the executive leading the strategy and core digital technologies in support of new business models and product development. He oversaw the technology development that led to a unique patented approach for driving subscription capabilities for the bundling of print and digital products. Abe also created and led an elite digital development group for mobile products that built and supported over 50+ apps with many receiving industry awards and recognition. Before that he was Vice President of Technology at HBO leading application development and notably building HBO’s first direct to consumer offering for satellite subscribers. In his 25+ years of experience with Time Warner, Abe is known for driving innovation and for being a proactive, knowledgeable and business-oriented leader that provides vision and expert execution. He has a long and impressive track record of success in driving strategy and building core digital technologies in support of new business models and product development for many large digital, Internet and mobile efforts. Abe is also a certified executive coach who enjoys helping and inspiring executives at all levels build and grow their leadership skills. He has helped mentor and develop countless staff and peers who have gone on to enjoy amazing successful careers.
