The emacula contact lenses and display eyewear were designed, patented, developed and clinically tested by a team of optometrists, ophthalmologists, optical physicists, engineers, and nano-fabrication technologists. The system was developed with assistance from the U.S. National Science Foundation, U.S. National Institutes of Health, and U.S. Military.
