The Madison Metropolitan School District is committed to ensuring that every school is a thriving school that prepares every student to graduate high school well-equipped for college, careers and their community. We serve over 27,000 students in 49 schools, including 32 elementary schools (grades K-5), 12 middle schools (grades 6-8), four comprehensive high schools and one alternative high school. Moorpark High School has a wealth of rigorous academic courses, extracurricular and athletic programs. The District is fortunate to be supported by a tremendous number of active volunteers and parent organizations including the Moorpark PTA Council and the Moorpark Education Foundation. The elected five member Board of Education works collaboratively with the District Administration to create an inclusive environment throughout the organization for the students, staff, parents and community to work in partnership.
