No one knows hardwoods like NWH. We began in the Pacific Northwest with a single alder mill in 1967. Over the years, the company has steadily grown and expanded to become the largest manufacturer and global supplier of hardwood lumber, producing 14 species of domestic hardwood. Today we also import and distribute a variety of exotic hardwood species, and source both appearance and structural plywood. As a result, the volume of hardwoods has more than doubled since 1950.
