Job Description:
The VP Human Resources will have the overall responsibility of all HR activities at strategic and operational levels to drive efficiencies and secure the future success and prosperity of WideOrbit. As part of the executive team you will provide overall strategic human resources leadership to the organization and represent the Human Resource functions as required in company Board Meetings, Compensation Committee and Audit Committee Meetings. This position will help move the needle in relation to the most important aspect of the organization—its people and training.
Here is what you`ll be doing:
Develop and implement programs in all human resource areas including organizational structure and design, compensation and benefit planning, employee development, succession planning, employee communication, and workforce planning.
Identify and implement human resources projects that are aligned with strategic business initiatives including professional development, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and performance management.
Manage and mentor the ten member HR team.
Oversee talent acquisition and support our needs to attract top talent around the world to WideOrbit.
Identify training priorities and implement programs to improve the knowledge and skills of our employees .
Develop training opportunities for our managers so they can be more effective, positive, and influential leaders. Work with managers to build career paths for their employees
Oversee all M&A activity in the area of human resources to ensure seamless integration of acquired employees.
Develop HR policy and documentation including compliance for regulatory and reporting requirements globally.
Identify and implement HRIS systems as needed to improve efficiency and maintaining compliance of all Human Resource, Compensation and Benefit programs.
Here`s what we are looking for:
BA/BS in related field, MS and/or HR certifications preferred.
15+ years of progressive HR experience including prior leadership/management roles at mid to large sized multi-state and international technology company is strongly preferred.
Experience working with and presenting to Board of Director Compensation Committees.
Deep HR expertise across all areas including aligning human capital strategies with business objectives; specific expertise in building a skilled and productive workforce, technical skills training, retention strategy, and knowledge management transfer.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving culture and change management through periods of substantial growth including mergers and/or acquisitions.
Strong communication skills including the ability to connect and support employees and senior management in remote locations.
Proven success partnering with a senior executive team and having established credible business partner relationships.
Track record of decision making and personal values in line with company culture and values.
Excellent team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas outside one`s own core expertise.
Travel 5-10% will be required depending on the needs of the business.
