Island Nursing Home and Care Center, established in 1983. We serve 70 residents—38 in nursing (including a small number in skilled nursing) and 32 in residential care. We are one of only five independent, non-profit nursing homes in Maine. We have consistently earned the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services` (CMS) top rating of five stars.
