VISIT PHILADELPHIA® is our name and our mission. As the region`s official tourism marketing agency, we build Greater Philadelphia`s image, drive visitation and boost the economy. Recognizing that leisure tourism could be an important industry for the city and region, the City of Philadelphia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and The Pew Charitable Trusts founded VISIT PHILADELPHIA as the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation in 1996.
