The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is the state economic development authority for Virginia, established in 1995. It works with local, regional, and state partners to enhance and diversify the states economy. VEDP is governed by a 17-member Board of Directors, which oversees its operations and strategic planning. VEDPs mission is to create economic opportunities through business recruitment, expansion, and international trade.
