MANCHESTER TANK WAS FORMED IN 1945 as Manchester Welding and Fabricating Company of Los Angeles, California. The company was purchased by Julius Diamond and Edward Reifschneider in 1946. The only product manufactured at that time was a five gallon vertical tank for storage of butane and propane gas.
