The Utah Health Information Network (UHIN) is a nonprofit coalition of healthcare providers, payers, state government and other stakeholders whose mission is to positively impact healthcare through reduced costs, improved quality, and better results by fostering data-driven decisions.
UHIN operates a full-service healthcare clearinghouse exchanging medical, institutional and dental claims and related transactions. We also support care coordination, quality improvement, and higher patient and provider satisfaction by operating the Utah state-designated health information exchange, the cHIE. And we are a nationally-recognized Standards Development Organization that represents our community`s needs when federal EDI standards are developed.
