The Office of the Vice President and General Counsel was formed in 2010 and is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the University, which includes the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine located in Hershey, the University Park campus and 19 others, 2 special mission campuses across the Commonwealth and the World Campus. The current staff includes the general counsel, twelve associate general counsels, two assistant general counsels, three paralegals, one executive assistant, one administrative assistant and one financial assistant. The General Counsel reports directly to the President and the Board of Trustees. The Office of General Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the Board of Trustees, the President and other administrators in their capacity as agents conducting University business. The attorneys in the office do not provide legal services to faculty, staff or students in their personal matters. Students with personal legal issues should contact the Office of Student Legal Services.

Middlesex Community College is a public community college with two campuses located in Lowell and Bedford, Massachusetts, USA. The college was founded in 1970 on the grounds of the Veterans Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts. During the 1980s the college expanded to additional sites in Bedford and Burlington, Massachusetts, and eventually consolidated its campuses to the grounds of the former Marist Preparatory Seminary, off Springs Road in Bedford. In 1987, Middlesex embarked on another period of growth with the opening of its fourth campus at the Wannalancit Mills complex in Lowell. Later, the college moved to several buildings in the Kearney Square area, and the Wannalancit Mills buildings came under the management of the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In April 2008, the college acquired a former Boston & Maine railroad depot in Lowell, for future use by performing arts.programs
The university system started as the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines in Fairbanks, later renamed the University of Alaska. That first year, the campus was a single two-story frame building and had just six students. The school was renamed the University of Alaska in 1935. In 1954, Anchorage Community College (now known as the University of Alaska Anchorage) was incorporated into the University of Alaska. That next year, Juneau Community College was established and was later named the University of Alaska Southeast. The UA system`s largest hubs (UAA, UAF and UAS) are separately accredited institutions, as is Prince William Sound Community College in Valdez. System-wide, nearly 33,000 full- and part-time students are enrolled, studying among 500 unique degree, certificate or endorsement programs. Study areas include short-course workforce training, associate degrees, bachelor`s and master`s degrees, as well as doctorates. Programs include a wide array of the sciences, engineering, teacher and early childhood education, business, journalism and communications, aviation, health occupations, history, English, the arts and humanities and many others. Per the Alaska Constitution, an 11-member board of regents governs the system. The system president serves as the board`s chief executive officer. Chancellors for each of the hubs—UAA, UAF and UAS--report to the president.
James Madison University is a public research university in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Founded in 1908 as the State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Harrisonburg, the institution was renamed Madison College in 1938 in honor of President James Madison and then James Madison University in 1977.
