Today, Verity Health System seeks to build upon the rich legacy left by the Daughters of Charity Health System through a transformation of our health care practices. With more than 8,000 employees and physicians, the System is governed by the independent Verity Health System Board of Directors. It is a non-profit, non-religious health care system with 1,650 inpatient beds, six active emergency rooms and a host of medical specialties, committed to providing community benefit through a variety of community-based outreach programs and wellness activities.
