This is accomplished by identifying systems, services, and capabilities that will have a substantive impact on the community and delivering them robustly and at scale.
Oglethorpe University has entered an era of innovation, reinvigoration, and growth with the opening of the $16M Turner Lynch Campus Center in 2013 and a 374-unit residential complex, Gables Brookhaven. Founded in 1835, Oglethorpe is Atlanta`s leading liberal arts and sciences university of 1184 students representing 32 states and 33 countries. Renowned for its groundbreaking Core program, Oglethorpe is a member of the Annapolis Group, comprised of America`s most selective liberal arts institutions, and has been named among U.S. News & World Report`s Best Liberal Arts Colleges, Forbes` America`s Best Colleges, and Princeton Review`s Best Southeastern Colleges. Oglethorpe`s Atlanta Laboratory for Learning (A_LAB) fosters experiential learning through civic engagement, study abroad, internships, and undergraduate research. Shaw University, founded in 1865, is the first historically black college in the South. Shaw is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university affiliated with the Baptist Church. The University awards degrees at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Located 25 miles west of Cleveland, the North Ridgeville City Schools are part of the rich history in this community of over 28,000 residents. A close working relationship with residents and good financial management enables the district to continue to make gains in student performance and educational programming. The School District is one of 614 school districts in the State and 14 in Lorain County. We provide education programs and services to over 4,000 students in a community experiencing sustained growth in new housing and business.
