The Office of Administration combines and coordinates the central management functions of state government. OA provides services for state agencies and serves as the state`s administrative office. The Commissioner serves as Chief Executive with oversight of the seven divisions: Accounting; Budget and Planning; Facilities Management, Design and Construction; General Services; Information Technology Services; Personnel; and Purchasing. This team provides Server and Tier 1, 2, and 3 Help Desk support for the Idaho Consolidated Services (ICS) Messaging system and Active Directory (44 customer agencies), the Department of Administration, and 35+ small agencies and commissions. This team provides 24x7x365 on-call systems support for ICS equipment as well as Monday through Friday 7:30 to 5:00 help desk support and other server support. When multiple agency contracts exist with a single vendor, we consolidate those contracts into fewer contracts (perhaps one contract) with that vendor. Fiscal Analysis & Planning: we provide budget forecasting, planning, and oversight for our internal operations as well as for existing and new statewide consolidation activities.
