Our company was born in 2002 when Inktomi was purchased by Yahoo. Two former eScene executives believed in the potential of video management and publishing to shape the way businesses communicate. Purchasing just that portion of the Inktomi product` they launched Media Publisher Inc. after the original product name. In 2011` Qumu was acquired by Rimage Corporation` who rebranded as the Qumu Corporation in 2012 changing the NASDAQ stock ticker symbol to QUMU. In 2014` Qumu acquired the London-based video platform provider` Kulu Valley` rebranding their video platform as Qumu Cloud.
