The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters across 18 countries. TiE`s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, education, incubating, and funding. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE`s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.
GSA advances responsible seafood practices worldwide through education, advocacy and demonstration. GSA convenes seafood industry leaders, academia and NGOs to collaborate on cross-cutting issues like environmental and social responsibility, animal health and welfare, food safety and more. The Slippery Rock University Student Government Association, Inc. (SRSGA) is an independent corporation on campus with a roughly two-million dollar budget. SRSGA serves as the governing body to most clubs and organizations at Slippery Rock University. SRSGA recognizes over one hundred organizations and provides budgets for most. Also, SRSGA helps fund the majority of Slippery Rock Athletics, runs a Child Care facility on campus, manages the campus bus service, and owns the university book store.
