Southeast is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers a wide range of classroom and online course options through each of our five campuses in Cumberland, Harlan, Middlesboro, Pineville and Whitesburg. There is a campus near to you! Southeast offers you a wide range of academic, technical and cultural programs to meet your needs. Our academic transfer programs offer Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees that transfer very easily to four-year institutions. We have certificate programs that fit together with your current employment so you can advance or open the door to a new career. We also offer a wide range of cultural opportunities for you to engage in, such as community art and theater productions, while learning more about the history, culture, and traditions of southeast Kentucky and Appalachia.
Williamson County Schools is a K-12 school district with approximately 38,100 students enrolled for the 2016-2017 school year. There are 44 school sites: 10 high schools, 9 middle schools, 24 elementary schools, and one K- 8 school. The district`s newest schools are located in Nolensville: Mill Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and Nolensville High. According to the Tennessee Department of Education`s 2015 Report Card, WCS earned all A`s in 3-8 Achievement and an A, B and C in Value-Added Growth. In addition, the district`s graduating class of 2015 posted an ACT composite score of 23.8, the highest in the history of the district. In addition, 21 Williamson County schools were named 2014-15 Reward Schools by the Tennessee Department of Education.
