Formed in 1997, HC21 is a leader and catalyst in creating market solutions to meet the evolving changes in healthcare. We represent 60+ members with more than 450,000 covered lives in East and Middle TN. HC21 continues to pioneer local market changes by innovating and implementing new strategies in the emerging health benefits market. We were honored to be awarded the 2011 National Business Coalition on Health’s Membership Award for Superior Leadership in Value Based Purchasing. HC21 is a national leader in publishing patient safety information, a national leader in encouraging provider transparency, a regional leader in health plan evaluation, and a regional leader in promoting consumerism. Northeast Arc was founded in 1954 by parents of children with developmental disabilities who wanted to raise their sons and daughters as full members of the community. By having the courage to challenge professionals who told them their children could not be educated and would not live to become adults, these parents created the systems that enabled them to attend public schools, develop friendships, reside in the neighborhoods of their choice and to earn a paycheck.

For 50 years Goodwill of the Coastal Empire has served our community. During these difficult economic times, the level of need in our community continues to rise, yet at Goodwill the spirit of success triumphs. We deeply appreciate those who provide support. The company started in 1965 with eight employees and a $60,000 budget in a time when there were few community organizations helping people with disabilities. Today, we have more than 850 employees and a budget of $27+ million. We expanded our services in recent years with the opening of nine Job Connection Centers. These centers connect businesses and job seekers in local community, as well as the surrounding counties. The centers offers a wide array of services and classes.
