Mexico Academy and Central Schools covers an area of approximately 100 square miles and includes the towns of Hastings, New Haven, Mexico, Palermo, Parish, Richland, Scriba and Volney. Mexico Central Schools serves approximately 2,000 students housed in five buildings: Mexico High School, grades 9-12 (650 students); Mexico Middle School, grades 5-8 (600 students); and Mexico Elementary, New Haven Elementary and Palermo Elementary, grades K-4 house a total of approximately 750 students for the three elementary schools.
