The mission of Muncie Community Schools is to provide a quality educational environment that allows every student to maximize his or her potential and, upon graduation, possess the skills necessary to be a positive, productive, contributing member of society. The Muncie Community School Corporation is home to an exceptionally talented collection of over 8,000 K-12 and adult education students and the school corporation employs 1,422 full and part-time faculty and staff members.
