We are currently looking for an HR Director, Strategic Business Partner to join the Thales e-Security team in Plantation, FL.
The HR Director, Strategic Business Partner acts as a partner to the business by helping to create and embed HR strategies and by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to help the business increase its performance. This position will report directly to the Worldwide Vice President of HR and play a key role in the integration and organizational development of a newly formed operating division with Thales.
Key Accountabilities
I. Operational/Professional/Business
• Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
• Play key role in design and implementation of legacy business`s integration within a newly formed worldwide organization
• Work closely with Global HR VP and other senior members of the worldwide HR team to define and implement human resource strategy, operations, policies and procedures to create a best-in-class company culture
• Support management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
• Facilitate long-term initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda
• Help the Executive Team to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards including training plans
• Partner with the business to manage all employee relations, including investigations of complex employee issues, as well as, day to day concerns
II. Leadership
• Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda
• Ensure leadership, coaching, and feedback culture is cascaded through the organization
• Provide clear leadership by demonstrating understanding of business trends and needs
III. Management
• Drive the people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that employees` level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
• Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and cross-functional initiatives within the business and across Thales group
• Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
• Implement HR policies including recognition and reward strategy to ensure that all recognition and reward decisions are fair and objective
• Mentor and develop direct reports
IV. Relationships
• Partner with the Executive team with confidential advice
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees where appropriate
• Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
• Partner with the HR Shared Services, Centers of Expertise and Corporate HR to ensure seamless and smooth delivery of their services
V. Innovation
• Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies, processes, and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
• Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous improvement

Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor`s degree in business administration, HR management, or related field
• PHR or SPHR certification highly desirable
• Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines,
• Solid expertise in relevant state & federal labor legislation, OFCCP, and other relevant compliance
• 10+ years` experience in Human Resources
• Expertise in problem solving and analysis
