It serves supermarkets, warehouse clubs, national chains, distributors, restaurants, hospitals, and other institutions through direct sales force and brokers. The company was formerly known as Sara Lee Corporation and changed its name to The Hillshire Brands Company in June 2012.
Since the Mi Rancho grocery store first opened its doors in 1939, hard work and passion have brought us success, as we now produce over 4.5 million tortillas a day, roughly 1.3 billion tortillas each year. We employ true artisan bakers and professionals, with some of our employees having worked here as long as I have. Remaining loyal to our roots, we only use California corn and flour. While we have grown, we refuse to grow into a “tortilla factory.” Just like we did so many years ago, we continue to follow the authentic techniques to produce delicious tortillas I’m proud to serve to my own family.
