Mr. Dwyer served as a Member of the Obama Administration's HHS transition team and has played an active role in the HHS, FDA, and Commerce transition and staffing plans of the Administration. He co-founded the first political action committee focused on a particular disease, the Alzheimer's Action PAC. Mr. Dwyer is a frequent Speaker on financing and regulatory issues of critical importance to emerging health technology companies. He has spoken on health information issues, business risks associated with the FDA approval process, and patent insurance at a variety of forums including the BIO/CEO and AdvaMed annual conferences.
