Key Accountabilities:
Sysorex is looking for a marketing leader! We are searching for a CMO to manage a high-performing marketing team. This role requires a leader to have a start-up mentality, (but in the context of a company with approximately $70M of revenue), energy and perseverance with the experience necessary to run marketing for a company in the public eye. A solutions and services company, Sysorex continues to grow its high speed data analytics solution as well as its Real Time Locationing solution while supporting both current and future services customers around the world. With current customers ranging from sensitive government contracts and healthcare giants to Fortune 500 companies and retail property owners, wide range experience as well as a desire to understand and go after many different vertical markets is important for this role. A mix of hardware, software, and cloud solutions, this role requires multi-level strategies across many different industries and focuses. You will be expected to rapidly learn about Sysorex`s products, customers and use cases, and be able to evangelize Sysorex`s solutions to customers at industry events.

The CMO will be in charge of driving demand generation for a growing sales force, branding including increasing visibility and awareness, digital marketing (including social media), public relations, and investor relations; and, of course, building a well-thought out marketing strategy and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Drive demand generation for a growing, hungry sales force and channel partners across many verticals
• Create, build and lead global company marketing efforts targeted at creating substantial growth and awareness of the brand and products
• Create compelling marketing programs building brand visibility and educating markets
• Manage highly-effective, multi-faceted marketing team
• Partner with CEO, CTO and Chief Sales Officer to execute company goals
• Be the voice of the company and tell a good story
Requirements:
• 10+ years as Marketing lead for a cloud company, IOT or security software
• Experience working in a venture backed or public company
• Inspirational coach that can motivate teams to make things happen
Education: BA/BS in relevant field, MBA a plus
Compensation: Compensation package includes equity.
