PineTree Therapeutics

Pinetree Therapeutics is an award-winning, pre-clinical stage biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We are dedicated to finding solutions for unmet medical need, such as drug resistance and tumor recurrence, in targeted therapy by degradation of disease-causing proteins with AbReptorTM platform. Novel degrader drugs have been exciting scientific field, due to its distinct mechanism of action (removal of disease-causing protein). AbReptorTM was developed for targeted degradation on membrane bound and extracellular proteins causing diseases. Receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) and non-RTK inhibitors have made huge progress in the past few years, but their application is limited due to specificity, drug resistance, and on-target toxicity. Our platform`s RTK degraders promise to redefine their distinctive mutation-agnostic properties, differing from existing RTK therapeutics field. With the pre-clinical animal study, our lead molecule demonstrated on-target degradation, mutation agnostic anti-tumor effect, and potent anti-tumor effect in RTK inhibitor resistant tumor. Surprisingly, no signs of toxicity were found in rodent and cynomolgus monkey. Furthermore, it would unluck full potential to solve limitation of RTK and non-RTK therapeutics. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) field made an initial breakthrough with poor response rate, high toxicity profiles, and exhausted poor clinical outcome. Our platform has full potential to solve the current problem of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), PD-(L)1 inhibitors. Our PD-(L)1 degrader is the first ever in-class to demonstrate enhanced anti-tumor immunity in pre-clinical animal studies. Pinetree Therapeutics` lead molecule is in pre-clinical IND stage, and we are committed to expanding our platforms to other target proteins, such as RTKs, non-RTKs, and ICIs. We believe our platform has the potential to transform the field of medicine and revolutionize the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

DermTech

Welcome to the new era of skin cancer detection. At DermTech we bring precision to the practice of dermatology through non-invasive genomic testing. And we developed the Smart Sticker that`s making it possible. The DermTech Smart Sticker collects an RNA sample by painlessly lifting skin cells off the entire surface of a mole. This gives doctors the power to diagnose skin cancer in its earliest stages—without a scalpel, without cutting, without scarring. After collection, stickers are sent to our team of scientists in the Gene Lab, the only commercial lab to extract nucleic acids and other proteins from non-invasive skin samples. We amplify RNA molecules to detect two specific genes that are highly predictive of melanoma—PRAME and LINC00518. This process provides 10,000x greater precision in the ability to detect melanoma. We have created the step before the scalpel—a tool doctors have never had before. Now the doctor has the choice of using a non-invasive, highly accurate test to check for melanoma without cutting. And this is just the beginning. We are developing other tests using the Smart Sticker that will further advance early disease detection.

Sesen Bio

We are passionate in our commitment to improving and renewing people`s lives. Sesen Bio is a late-stage company devWe are passionate in our commitment to save and improve the lives of patients. Sesen Bio is a late-stage company developing fusion protein medicines for the treatment of patients with cancer. In February 2021, the FDA accepted for filing the Company`s BLA for Vicineum™, a potential best-in-class treatment for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.eloping fusion protein medicines for people with cancer. Our fusion protein approach tethers a tumor-targeting antibody fragment to a protein cytotoxic payload to form a single protein molecule designed to selectively and broadly kill cancer cells while sparing healthy cells and to activate the body`s innate immune response system. The most advanced program in our pipeline is Vicinium™, a novel investigational anti-cancer treatment that has the potential to treat multiple cancers driven by overexpression of EpCAM, such as non-muscle invasive bladder (NMIBC) and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). We are currently advancing Vicinium in a Phase 3 registration trial for the treatment of people with NMIBC who have been previously treated with bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG), with positive three-month efficacy results established and 12-month study results expected in mid-2019. Due to Vicinium`s potential to promote an anti-tumor immune response, we believe it holds promise as a combination treatment with immuno-oncology drugs, such as checkpoint inhibitors.
