Today TU is a national organization with more than 150,000 members organized into about 400 chapters from Maine to Montana to Alaska. This dedicated grassroots army is matched by a respected staff of lawyers, policy experts and scientists, who work out of more than 30 offices nationwide. These conservation professionals ensure that TU is at the forefront of fisheries restoration work at the local, state and national levels. The organization remains committed to applying ""the very best information and thinking available"" in its conservation work and has developed cutting-edge tools such as the Conservation Success Index (CSI), a sophisticated framework for assessing the health of coldwater fish species throughout their native range. Whether this range encompasses a few hundred miles or multiple states, the CSI helps the organization target its efforts toward those populations most in need of protection or restoration. The CSI also enables TU to measure its progress in achieving the bold goals laid out in its mission and vision. These goals require the organization to work at increasingly larger scales, and to collaborate with other conservation interests, local communities and state and federal partners to begin to rebuild the natural resiliency of watersheds. Such efforts are crucial if North America's trout and salmon are to survive climate change and the host of threats facing them at the start of the 21st century. Nearly 50 years after its founding, no other conservation organization is as well placed as TU to make a difference for the nation's coldwater fisheries.

As a leading non-profit organization with offices in St. Paul, Minneapolis and Rochester (MN), we work together to develop the strengths within children, adults and families who are navigating life`s greatest challenges. We reduce disparities on the ground level, working to empower those who experience the most barriers to success. Every day, our work makes our community stronger through a unique family-centered approach that helps 40,000 Minnesotans put hope within reach and create a better life for themselves and their families. Stabilizing Families When adults have sustainable employment, they create stability for themselves and provide a solid foundation for the next generation. Each year, Lifetrack helps 1,400 people with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, and people experiencing poverty launch and develop careers that are meaningful to them. Empowering Parents A strong and nurturing parent fulfills the central role in a child’s growth and happiness. Lifetrack offers parenting education and connections to community resources for over 1,500 families experiencing poverty or families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Over 35,000 adults seek our educational resources to balance work and family demands. Fostering Resilience in Children Children are resilient when they are able to move forward after facing minor setbacks, daily challenges, or even a traumatic event. Lifetrack helps over 260 children each year who experience the stresses of poverty find their strengths and prepare for kindergarten. We help over 1,400 children who are deaf or hard of hearing build confidence with role models, American Sign Language instruction, and community support.
