Strand Life Sciences was founded in 2000 by four computer scientists with one objective: to apply the algorithms of computer coding to the life sciences. We leveraged this unique convergence of technology and biology expertise to develop a strong portfolio of products internationally that support research and diagnosis and treatment of disease. Today, our products are used in more than 2,000 scientific laboratories and 100 hospitals around the world.
