The State Corporation Commission, or SCC, is a Virginia regulatory agency whose authority encompasses utilities, insurance, state-chartered financial institutions, securities, retail franchising, and railroads. It is the state`s central filing office for corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and Uniform Commercial Code liens. The Ohio Health Information Partnership is a nonprofit entity whose mission is to assist physicians and other providers with the adoption and implement of health information technology (HIT) throughout Ohio. The Partnership created CliniSync - Ohio`s statewide health information exchange - to electronically connect hospitals, physicians and others who care for patients through a secure network.
