We are continually pursuing new ways to broaden the physician specialties available to our patients and their families.   With more than 70 physicians on the active staff, and over 600 health professionals, we are committed to providing exceptional health care.   In July 2012, St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital joined SSM Health Care, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system with an international reputation as a pioneer in quality measures to improve care. With 6,500 physicians and more than 24,000 employees, SSM owns 16 hospitals in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Illinois and Missouri and serves nearly 1.5 million people annually. In Oklahoma, SSM includes St. Anthony Hospital, Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony, and St. Anthony Physicians as well as a network of 20 Saints 1st affiliated hospitals.
