The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is the public transportation system serving State College, PA and the main campus of Penn State. We operate three distinct programs - CATABUS, conventional "city bus" service; CATARIDE, dial-a-ride for seniors and persons with disabilities; and CATACOMMUTE, which includes vanpools and carpool matching for long-distance commuters.
