This creates a system where an enormous amount of early-stage entrepreneurs who don`t come from privilege are ignored. Instead, Sky`s the Limit envisions a world where every entrepreneur has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our mission is to build a global community where all entrepreneurs and their allies can build meaningful relationships and grow together. Skysthelimit.org (STL) is a digital platform that connects aspiring, underrepresented entrepreneurs ages 18 to 29 with experienced business advisors and mentors. Our mission is to empower underserved communities nationwide by providing them with the right support, from the right people, at the right time in their journey. With over 45,000 registered entrepreneurs and volunteers, we`re growing rapidly in all 50 states. Through our digital platform, we provide young entrepreneurs with one-on-one support, our young adult-adapted entrepreneurship training resources, and our startup grants funding. We also license our entrepreneurship mentoring platform to nonprofits and other organizations around the world to support the scale of their business mentoring programs. Over 11 million young adults ages 18 to 29 in the United States say they want to start their own business, but lack the resources they need to do so. We`re leveling the playing field so that anyone with an idea, perseverance and a willingness to learn can get the support they need to build their business. The Goizueta Investment Management Group (GIMG) is a student-managed investment fund at Emory Universitys Goizueta Business School. GIMG currently manages ~$350,000 of Emorys endowment in long-only Equity and Fixed Income Funds. In addition to our investment activities, we are extremely passionate about using our resources to help teach financial literacy to underserved youth in the Atlanta area. Our group was founded in 2011, as the result of an effort by Corey Moore (BBA 12) and Shawn Shivalkar (BBA 11) who teamed up with the administration to launch GIMG. The vision for the group started a few years before with a generous donation from one of our most notable alumni. Since our founding, GIMG has become one of the premier student organizations in the business school. GIMG has also been committed to making a positive contribution to the Atlanta community by using our experience and resources to help bring greater financial literacy to underprivileged youth. Some of our recent partnerships with schools and youth organizations include Maynard Jackson High School, the Economic Empowerment Initiative, and Emorys own Graduation Generation. We continue to look for new opportunities to expand our impact throughout the community.
